Summer Solstice 2019

Today, at 10:54am Wisconsin Time the 2019 Summer Solstice begins!

Remember that the season occurs due to the position of the sun and the earth. The solstice officially kicks off Summer with the longest day and shortest night of the year!

Sunrise: 5:18am

Sunset: 8:40pm

This is 15 hours and 22 minutes of daylight! (So maybe take a catnap in between sometime)

Check out this graphic below which shows the daylight hours in different regions of this continent! Notice that if you lived in the Arctic you would experience ~24 hours of daylight.
