Absolutely not! Our well-trained guides will safely guide you on your outing, and safety is always our priority. People of all experience levels can come on an excursion and have a great time.
We are fully mobile and meet you ready to kayak! Bookings are available online or by phone (the best way to communicate is by text).
Plan for three hours in total, with about two hours on the water and thirty minutes before and after for prepping the gear, transportation, a safety and paddling lesson, etc. Please note timing may vary with route, weather and speed of group!
Dress as if you are going to the beach. You may get wet, so wear comfortable, fast-drying clothing, and feel free to leave a towel in your car for when you return or use it as a cushion in your kayak. We recommend wearing layers so you have options if cool or hot. Other than that, just bring drink (non-alcoholic)/snack, a smile and a positive attitude!
The sooner you let us know if you won’t make it, the better. Let us know at least 24 hours before launch and you will receive a full refund. In the case of extenuating circumstances or bad weather, we will also issue a full refund or reschedule.
We do our best to go out every day, but if it is pouring rain, thundering/lightning, or too windy to kayak, we will contact you as soon as possible. We will try to rebook you to another day, but if you are not available, we will issue a full refund.
All guided excursions are $70/person for guided tours. Price varies based on time for Independent Rentals. Check out Our Activities and click “Book Now” to see various options and prices. Discounts are available for larger bookings! 10+ receives 15% off and 25+ receives 20%.
Our professional team consists of experienced kayakers and paddle boarders passionate about the water sports. With years of experience as outdoor leaders, we are skilled individuals qualified to ensure safety and fun for all.
Most are comfortable, but we recommend bringing a seat cushion or towel for extra comfort. If we can help in any way we are happy to do so! You may get wet as you get in and out of the kayak, but you should stay fairly dry.
Our entire kayak fleet is extremely stable and tipping the kayak is challenging, but people do tip out every one in awhile. Most capsizes happen due to water fights or good goofing around. There should be no worries as safety is our number one concern!
