Here in Northeastern Wisconsin we live amongst an abundance of beauty! With this weekly series “Wisconsin Parks Near Me” we take the opportunity to highlight our community parks we share. We have so many parks we narrowed our focused to a selection along the waterways we paddle (and we still can’t feature them all!). So check out this week’s park details featured below – pack your gear, fill up the picnic basket, don’t forget your hammock or fishing pole.

Description: Enjoy a walk through the shady trees along the small channels running through Doty Park, stopping to view art installations, take a picture from one of the two bridge crossings, and enjoy the view out on to Lake Winnebago from the gazebo. Launch from the boat ramps, or slide a kayak in off the fishing deck. The 1200 feet of shoreline attract all sorts of interesting wildlife. Away from the water, the park offers restrooms, a playground, and even tennis courts.
