In this weekly series we highlight fun, simple games which can be played at your local park, around your campsite firepit, with new friends or family. The games vary from icebreakers, name games, and exercise warm-ups, to puzzles or riddles. Check out our weekly post and get out there and have some fun!
Participants: 5 or more
Timeframe: 5 to 10 minutes
Objective: To work as a team to silently line up in a particular order Instruct participants to silently line themselves up according to a category (e.g., by first or last name alphabetically, by birthdate, by their mother’s first name, etc.) To make the game more challenging add a timed component, and later see if the group can beat their time in a different category. Debriefing this activity can be valuable. Talk to participants about which strategies were effective and which weren’t.
