In this weekly series we highlight fun, simple games which can be played at your local park, around your campsite firepit, with new friends or family. The games vary from icebreakers, name games, and exercise warm-ups, to puzzles or riddles. Check out our weekly post and get out there and have some fun!
Participants: 5 or more
Equipment: Foam sleeping pad
Timeframe: 5 to 15 minutes
Objective: To turn the magic carpet over Tell participants that they’re going on a magic carpet ride and to step onto the sleeping pad. Once they are all “in the air,” share that the magic carpet is upside down, and have them work as a team to turn it right side up, without anyone falling off. Keep the game going until the sleeping pad is flipped over, or end it after an allotted amount of time.
