In this weekly series we highlight fun, simple games which can be played at your local park, around your campsite firepit, with new friends or family. The games vary from icebreakers, name games, and exercise warm-ups, to puzzles or riddles. Check out our weekly post and get out there and have some fun!
Participants: 5 or more
Equipment: Paper and pencil
Timeframe: 15 to 30 minutes
Objective: To get everyone on one “team” Identify one person to “emcee” the game. Everyone else writes down a fantasy that they have had and feel comfortable sharing. (for example, someone may write that they have always wanted to live in a house by Lake Michigan in Door County.) Once everyone has written down their fantasies (without sharing them), the emcee collects them all and reads them out loud. The player who goes first tries to match a fantasy with the person who write it. If they correctly make the match, that person is now on their “team”, and they work together to try to correctly match other people with their respective fantasy. If the first player doesn’t correctly match a person with their fantasy, then it becomes someone else’s turn. The game continues until everyone is on the same “team”.
