Originally known as ‘Rapids Des Peres’ (Rapids of the Fathers) you will launch where Native Americans and early European settlers hailed as a great fishing location! Before the dam/lock was built this was the last set of rapids on the Fox River before the calm flow to the Bay.
Paddling through you will pass St. Norbert College campus founded in 1898, traverse a single lock, and go with the flow to Green Bay shores! Keep an eye out for Lambeau Field off in the distance on a clear day!
Our tours are safe and enjoyable for novice and advanced paddlers alike. Our sit-on-top kayaks are safe and sturdy for paddlers of all ages and experience levels.
We never guarantee a tour location in advance. Our priority is always safety, and our guides always pick the safest location for us to go paddling, based on wind strength/direction and group ability.
We do our best to get on the water every day. Sometimes the conditions do not allow for this (i.e. thunder, lightning, very windy). When this happens, we will try to reschedule you to another time or day. If you are unable to reschedule, you will receive a full refund.
If the conditions are good, but you are unable to make it, we request that you give us notice at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a full refund. This ensures that we can take as many people paddling as possible.
