Calumet County Park

Calumet County Park

Enjoy a Lake Winnebago breeze on a stand-up paddle board or kayak.

View the Niagara Escarpment from the water! It is one of Wisconsin’s many natural treasures. Various rock layers created cliff ledges which overlook the Lake, facing out towards Doty Island. The area is culturally rich with history dating thousands of years and ancient burial grounds as evidence of past civilizations!

Calumet County Park is home to several effigy mounds, fun picnic opportunities, and plenty of hiking trails! Legend has it that Calumet County Park is home to an archaeological site on the National Register of Historic Places, but the exact location is a protected site.

NOTE:

Our tours are safe and enjoyable for novice and advanced paddlers alike. Our sit-on-top kayaks are safe and sturdy for paddlers of all ages and experience levels.

We never guarantee a tour location in advance. Our priority is always safety, and our guides always pick the safest location for us to go paddling, based on wind strength/direction and group ability.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We do our best to get on the water every day. Sometimes the conditions do not allow for this (i.e. thunder, lightning, very windy). When this happens, we will try to reschedule you to another time or day. If you are unable to reschedule, you will receive a full refund.

If the conditions are good, but you are unable to make it, we request that you give us notice at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a full refund. This ensures that we can take as many people paddling as possible.
